Behzad "Gypsy Renaissance"

"Gypsy Renaissance" predated Iranian guitarist Behzad Aghabeigi's "Strings Of Desire" CD, establishing his meld of flamenco and Middle Eastern sonorities. Behzad writes, "It is written, that 'if you really want something in life, the whole universe will conspire to help you make your dreams come true'... and indeed it has been a dream come true with hard work and a lot of fun in producing and recording this album. If music brings you joy, then we have an unspoken rapport. If you find that this album evokes your love and soothes your feelings as if you were a free gliding dove, then we all have experienced the "Gypsy Renaissance". This album was originally inspired by Rumi and Shams and is a tribute to them. If music be the first language, then hopefully one day it can be the last word."
