Gary Hoey
Ho! Ho! Hoey
The Story
Originally recorded to only go out to friends as a Christmas present, "Ho! Ho! Hoey" is Gary Hoey's instrumental guitar treatment to some old Christmas chestnuts. Executive producer Dave Kaplan convinced Hoey to release it "...just for fun." Recorded and mixed in his home 8-Track studio, Hoey dedicated the CD to his mom, because she was bugging him for years to put out a "nice" Christmas album. Pull out "Ho! Ho! Hoey" instead of Mitch Miller any day in the Christmas season, but don't wait until December to check out the metallic rocker "God Rest" or the beautiful "Silent Night".
