Here are some lines based on concepts Jay Carlson has been covering in my studies with him. Notice on the ii chord that I'm using the harmonic minor scale that's up a 5th from the chord. So, for Dm7 I've written ideas using A harmonic minor. On the V and VI chords, both dominant 7th chords, I'm using the melodic minor scale that's up a 1⁄2 step from the written chord. So, for G7 I'll use Ab melodic minor and on A7 I'll use Bb melodic minor. And lastly, on the I chord I'm using the harmonic minor scale that's up a Major 3rd from the I chord. So, for C Major 7th you'll see the E harmonic minor scale.
