Racer X
Snowball Of Doom
The Story
Racer X's 2001 concert album "Snowball Of Doom" - Live At The Whisky encapsulates barnburning renditions of Racer X's old favorites going back to "Street Lethal", and offering live versions of material from their latest studio effort, "Superheroes". Paul Gilbert (guitar), Jeff Martin (vocals), John Alderete (bass) and Scott Travis (drums) are joined by 'extra guitarist and vocalist' Mike Szuter on thirteen heavy metal and hard rock tracks. Also, two instrumental tracks appear on "Snowball Of Doom", Gilbert's showpiece "Scarified" and "Phallic Tractor". A cover version of the Blue Oyster Cult classic "Godzilla" closes the show, which was recorded on May 25th, 2001 at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, California.
