The Teye La Perla Rosa is a variation on the classic Teye La Perla; really cool one off variations displaying the creativity and amazing craftsmanship of the great folks at Teye Guitars.
The Teye La Perla Rosa has the classic mother of pearl on the inner section of the body, but instead of the usual abalone, the “Rosa” has amazing red coral as the outer ring. Weighing a little over 8 pounds, La Perla Rosa is light and very resonant. A set of Lollar Imperials and Teye’s amazing proprietary electronics package, including a 5 way switch with an out of phase option, a position that has the combination of the the bridge pickup mixed with the coil tapped neck pickup. With these options and the mood knob, the player can access sounds from quacky Fender sounds to thick, chunky Gibson sounds by sweeping through the frequencies, opening up oodles of tonal ground.
