The Story
Oz Noy is a New York City based guitarist who has worked with Richard Bona, Chris Botti, Mike Clark, just to name a few. "Oz Live" feaures heavy instrumental funk fusion with Oz and his rotating trio, featuring Reggie Washington (bass), James Genus (bass), Keith Carlock (drums) and Anton Fig (drums). The CD was recorded live at the Bitter End in N.Y.C. during four nights in May and June 2002. The bonus track features Oz, Will Lee and Anton Fig doing "Cissy Strut" by The Meters, recorded live to DAT.
