The Story
"Live At Montreux 1994" brings together three of the great talents of jazz fusion. Stars in their own right, Al DiMeola (guitars), Stanley Clarke (bass) and Jean-Luc Ponty (violin) reach new levels of virtuosity as a trio. This concert features highlights from their individual careers plus many tracks, including "Indigo", "Renaissance", "Song To John" and "Memory Canyon", that would feature on the trio's critically acclaimed "The Rite Of Strings" album, released the following year. There's also the added treat of a guest appearance by renowned Jamaican pianist Monty Alexander.
