Aquarium Rescue Unit
The Calling
The Story
"The Calling", from the Aquarium Rescue Unit, features these superb musicians and students of Zambi: Jimmy Herring (guitars), Oteil Burbridge (bass), Kofi Burbridge (keyboards), Sean O'Rourke (drums) and Paul Henson (vocals). Enhanced by the inclusion of two furious instrumental tracks ("Ride", "Usaidtheredbefish"), drummer O'Rourke states, "This is probably one of the better sounding records I've been involved with. I hope everyone has as much fun listening to it as I did cutting it." All the musicians are top notch, but Herring's crunchy rhythms and edgy, blazing solos must be heard and experienced to be believed. Aquarium Rescue Unit is at the top of their game with "The Calling".
