The Story
Jeff Beck "With The Jan Hammer Group Live" featured live renditions of songs from Beck's two instrumental guitar releases, "Wired" and "Blow by Blow", along with a couple of vocal numbers "Earth (Still Our Only Home)" and "Full Moon Boogie". Beck livens up the proceedings with his typical fiery playing, while Hammer kicks out pseudo-guitar riffage from his battery of keyboards. The CD highlights include extended jams with keyboardist/synthesist Jan Hammer on "Freeway Jam" and "Blue Wind."
